Sinema Stops Biden's Plan To Nationalize Federal Election Laws

[TRENDINGPOLITICS] As 2022 approaches, Democrats are privately and publicly expressing their frustration with two of their U.S. Senators who continue to back crucial legislation from passing.
Sen. Kyrsten Sinema

She began her political career in the Arizona Green Party and rose to prominence for her progressive advocacy, supporting causes such as LGBTQ rights and opposing the war on terror. She left the Green Party to join the Arizona Democratic Party in 2004 and was elected to a seat in the United States House of Representatives in 2012. After her election, she joined the New Democrat Coalition, the Blue Dog Coalition and the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus, amassing one of the most conservative voting records in the Democratic caucus. She won the 2018 Senate election to replace the retiring Jeff Flake, defeating Republican nominee Martha McSally. Sinema is the first openly bisexual (meaning she's not particular) and the second openly LGBT woman to be elected to the House of Representatives and to the Senate in 2012 and 2018, respectively. She also was the first woman elected to the Senate from Arizona....

(D-WV) just crushed Biden’s hope of getting his Build Back Better (BBB) massive spending bill passed.
Biden has been pushing to radically federalize elections, in spite of the Constitution.
"If we can get the congressional voting rights done, we should do it. ... There’s nothing domestically more important than voting rights," said Biden.
Sinema has also singlehandedly burst Biden’s desperate attempt to weaken election integrity laws by stating she will protect the 60-vote filibuster threshold.
Fifty Senate votes are needed to trash the filibuster. If the filibuster is terminated, a simple majority vote could be held to destroy election laws.
