Severe drought leaves millions of families exposed in Somalia
Allah really doesn’t like Somalia.
[Garowe] At least 4 million people in Somalia have been badly exposed to hunger following severe drought in Somalia, a country that is also battling myriad challenges, including but not limited to the Alshabaab menace.

Reports indicate that the Galgaduud region of Galmadug state in Central Somalia is one of the most severely affected areas in the country.

Somalia, a war-torn country, becomes increasingly vulnerable to crises as it has experienced more than 30 climate-related hazards since 1990, including 12 droughts and 19 floods, whose outcome has always been severe.
It sounds like they need canals and dams to store flood water against future need — really basic civil engineering, when the community isn’t fighting a continuous war of all against all.
There are also reports that Alshabaab holy warriors may have started to give food to vulnerable families as a way of enticing them. The holy warriors control large swathes of rural Central and southern Somalia.

Are we looking at another Feed Africa Re-Do
like in the 90's. Who will be the Evil War Lord this time?

Will Media, Rock-Stars and politicians race to the cameras to make, and/or skim $$Millions in pocket $$$?

Hopefully our troops won't be used again like Clinton did for his Somalia Screw-up. A screw-up that cost SFOD-D lives on Oct 3rd and 4th, 1993

Like when they were an Italian colony.
