First Omicron Variant Cases Discovered in U.K. Says Health Secretary
[Newsweek] The U.K has confirmed its first cases of the Omicron COVID-19 variant a day after it announced travel restrictions from southern Africa.

Health Secretary Sajid Javid said on Saturday that he had been informed by the U.K Health Security Agency (UKHSA) of two cases of the Omicron variant.

"The two cases are linked and there is a connection with travel to southern Africa," he tweeted.

IMNSHO, only [3] matters. [2] omits natural immunity -- illustrated by people neither vaccinated nor previously infected by COVID who stubbornly refused to catch it.
The author of this piece implied travel bans are completely useless. This makes zero sense to me.

I guess they never heard of SEALING THE BORDERS to all Human traffic to avoid further spread???

BTW: regarding the Biden Handlers banning flights in from X # of African Countries.

Obtaining Fake Passports from neighboring non-banned countries only takes a few days and at a lot less than the cost of a cheap local Plane Ticket.
