#1 The article has some accuracies but is slanted against guns which makes parts of the article false.

I was in all parts of Brazil before and during Bolsonaro's Presidency and Brazilian men of good standing know more about US gun laws than a lot of Americans because living in a country where guns were not legally allowed made the men yearn for the ability to protect their families better if they had gun rights. So they looked to US to learn how we do it in detail.

Now that they can own guns, yes, there are more shootings because during a crime people are now shooting the criminals.
