Safeway in California claims 'out of control' shoplifting as Walgreens closes more than a dozen stores over theft
[RT] A San Francisco grocery store that was once open 24 hours is now limiting its hours due to “out of control” shoplifting, the latest example of businesses closing or limiting hours due to rampant petty crime in the blue city.

The Safeway grocery store in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco will now be closing its doors at 9pm, the earliest of any Safeways in the city.

San Francisco supervisor, Rafael Mandelman, told the San Francisco Chronicle the limiting of hours is due to “out of control” shoplifting, and he plans to speak with the police department and district attorney’s office to “to see what is currently being done to deter theft at Safeway, and to figure out a plan to do better.”

Mandelman said in a separate interview that shoplifting has been “off the charts” and numerous businesses have been complaining that police rarely make arrests, even when they are called.

“I think like a lot of retailers they’ve been experiencing increasing property crime and theft from their stores,” he said. “I think the last six months from what they say has been sort of – off the charts in terms of how bad it’s been. It’s sad, upsetting and frustrating.”

Agreed, Mr. Fred. Assuming our kids decide to stay in the new USSA.

But how will they make a go of it as honest and patriotic citizens in a country whose elites across every institution demonize them, seek to grab their wealth or positions, and persecute them for daring to protest the madness?

Even the military is being destroyed. Loyal officers are now telling their sons not to choose military careers. There is literally no institution left that has not been poisoned by these little Bolshevik grifters.

Our kids and grandkids will have to start looking abroad if they want to find a place where they can honor their heritage and have a chance at living as free men and women.

#19 Is Orban's Hungary corrupt? Sure. Same for Russia. Corruption in Poland, too, and N. Italy. Prob'y Austria as well.

But in those countries and regions, a white make of European descent can still make a living with honest work and raise a family with pride in his heritage. No one will tell him he's wicked, or that his daughters need to let Dudes in Dresses into the girls' restroom and then lie about the inevitable rapes or other attacks that these freaks perpetrate. No Wakandan bullshit, no stigmatization as "domestic terrorists," no suppression of speech by employers or neighbors or Tech Oligarchs.

When Putin and Orban make more sense about matters of liberty and culture than our own elites, it's time to start thinking about going east.

The question is not about freedom va tyranny. It's about choosing between left-authoritarianism and right-illiberalism.

Take your pick. There is no third option now.
