Trauma nurse at Texas border town visited by Kamala Harris reveals her hospital is full of migrants suffering broken legs, smashed spines and shattered hips

Those kinds of hip and spine injuries have life long impacts on functionality, I imagine.
Torres said the hospital is so desperate for space that it is now issuing contracts to care homes to take in the injured migrants during their treatment
