Trump's Middle East success proves critics had no clue
[NYPOST] The Team Trump-brokered peace deals that Israel, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates will sign Tuesday won’t end the Middle East’s problems, but they’re big steps in that direction — exactly the opposite of what the left predicted about President Trump’s approach.

On Friday, Trump announced that Bahrain agreed to normalize ties with Israel, just a month after the United Arab Emirates did likewise. Kudos to those nations — and to the president.

Even the bitterly anti-Trump New York Times

...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

admits this "leaves open the possibility" more Arab states will make peace.

Fact is, the Trump strategy broke through stale assumptions on the Paleostinian-Israeli front, moving past Paleostinian refusals to make peace and threats of violence.

Trump acknowledged Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, moved the US embassy there and recognized the Jewish state’s claim to the Golan. He also cut aid to Paleostinian Authority, which had turned hostile to Washington and refused to stop spending big on payments to snuffies and their survivors.

Democrats and foreign-policy hands blasted Trump for all that, assuring everyone it would trigger disaster. Speaker Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi
Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. It's not her fault when they lose, but it's her accomplishment when they win. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace and occasional senior... uhhh... moments...
insisted the embassy move would "spark mass protests, fuel tensions and make it more difficult to reach a durable peace." Nine of 11 former US ambassadors to Israel called it "dangerous" or "deeply flawed," the Times reported. (Oops.)

Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden
...Candidate for president in 2020. We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created ... by the — you know — you know, the thing...
still calls it a mistake (though one he wouldn’t undo). He also warned that Israel’s Trump-blessed plan to annex parts of the West Bank "would choke off any hope for peace." Ha! It turned out to be a key bargaining chip that Israel gave up for its UAE deal.

Some experts even think Paleostinians may now finally see the need to get on board.

Trump’s other Mideast moves, like taking out Iranian terror chief Gen. Qassem Soleimani
, have drawn similarly dire warnings. Yet events keep proving that the critics have no idea what they’re talking about.

Mommy's skirt just disappeared. That they are so enraged and nobody cares tells me everything I need to know.

The same shitheads who thought it was a brilliant idea to reward Iran with pallets of billions of dollars in advance of doing nothing at all for peace.

Who brought us the Iraq war and 20 years of failure in Afghanistan.

Who destroyed middle America and built up China into a mortal threat.

We would have been better off had our foreign policy elite been made up of the first 1,000 names in any phone book in the US than to have these morons shitting all over our foreign policy as they've done for the last quarter century

Because it might end the Endless Wars! Who will the military-industrial complex Eisenhower warned us about sell their weapons to now?

#4 Trump is 3-4 steps ahead of the left mentality. How else could he have accomplished so much these last few years. I say again more to come. The left live for the moment. One emotional event after another.

#6 "Coffee Boy" makes good, shows 'experts' were incompetent:

Rather, the criticisms were about the unwillingness of the two men, publicly Jewish and proudly Zionist, to kowtow to the same tired experts who have made their careers pushing the same conventional wisdom that produced nothing but stalemate. The success of the youthful Berkowitz on a project where the so-called experts have met little success is all the more proof of the intellectual bankruptcy of the experts President Donald Trump has so often dismissed—in this case, rightly so.

The fundamental mistake of the peace process, and of the cadres of experts who have made that process into lifetime appointments to a revolving door of government, think tank, and academic jobs, is the idea that the solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict is peace between the Israelis and Palestinians.

But such a peace remains as far out of reach as it ever was. In the meantime, the Trump administration has secured a great victory in the ongoing quest for peace between Israel and its neighbors—the lack of which was and remains the true threat to global security and the true threat to American interests in the region.

#7 Now that the Arab financiers of Palestinian terror are closing their wallets, how many professional jihadis will be forced to leave show business for more useful employment?
