[Red State] Dinesh D’Souza is an Indian-born author and documentary filmmaker. He wrote one of my favorite political books, The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left, which details how the fascist ideology of the modern Left (including the Democrat Party) was lifted from the Nazis (and vice versa). You will also learn a great deal from watching his documentaries, too, as they are first-rate:
America: Imagine the World Without Her (2014)
Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party (2016)
Death of a Nation (2018)
He is an unabashed pro-American conservative who loves and supports his adopted country. He was targeted during the Obama regime for his political conservatism for making an illegal political contribution of $20,000 to a friend, to which he plead guilty and was sentenced to five years’ probation, eight months in a halfway house, and a $30,000 fine. Contrast his case to that of the Obama campaign, which was fined $375,000 for $1.8 million in campaign finance violations in 2013 (five years after the violations in 2008, and of course, AFTER the 2012 election). However, no one connected with the Obama campaign was held personally responsible. Compare and contrast the two outcomes!
Fortunately, in concert with his ongoing concerns about the unfairness of the criminal justice system, as evinced by recent pardons and sentence commutations of people like Rod Blagojevich and Alice Marie Johnson, President Trump granted D’Souza a full pardon in 2018.
That’s great, and D’Souza is now back in the political fray in support of President Trump, constitutional conservatives and the US Constitution, with regular appearances on Fox News and a new book in the offing. This week, he was interviewed by Laura Ingraham and made a very interesting contrast between the Democrat septuagenarians who are vying for the Democrat presidential nomination. Here is some of the Q&A:
