- Series of people and organizations he has helped have endorsed his presidential candidacy
- They include actors Ted Danson and Sam Waterson , who are both on board of ocean conservation charity which Bloomberg donated to
- John Cougar Mellencamp backed him after recording a song for a 2017 anti-coal documentary
- Rhode Island's Gina Raimondo was first governor to endorse him; her 2014 election was helped by $1 million from Bloomberg-backed groups
- Virgin Islands congresswoman Stacey Plaskett endorsed him after donations to help the island recover from tropical storm damage
- In Pennsylvania, he is hoping to win the state primary with series of endorsements and has given to anti-gun efforts and other campaigns
