She screamed and this brought a few sikhs from a nearby gurudwara (sikh temple). The big boys beat one to death and the other was set on fire by enraged hindu mob that had collected.

Moral of the story is, stop depending on your humanist machines of legality to defend you. They've already given up. To survive against wildlife, one has to get dirty.
