Congress Approval, Support for Impeaching Trump Both Up
I'm really starting to dislike reading Drudge...
[Gallup, via Drudge] - WASHINGTON, D.C. -- As Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives work through an impeachment inquiry regarding alleged abuses of office by President Donald Trump, approval of Congress is now at 25%. That is up from 18% in September, prior to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announcing the impeachment inquiry following news of possible wrongdoing by the president in communications with Ukraine.
...
Public opinion on whether Trump should be impeached remains mixed, but Americans now lean slightly more in favor of impeachment and removal from office compared with where they stood in June.

Currently, 52% say Trump should be impeached and removed from office, while 46% say he should not be. This is roughly the opposite of what Gallup found in June when asked in the context of special counselor Robert Mueller's investigation.
$10 says within a few days, the sampling for this poll (and damn well near half of them overall) will be shown to have the proverbial deli thumb on the scale, naturally favoring Democrats.

#1 Seriously. The media expects us to believe people like Congress more than creepy, slimy used car salesmen? Heck, people like clowns more than Congress from what I hear.

#2 Ditto Silentbrick. These media Marxists and those who commission such polls have been lying to us for a long time. They buy these phony polls and try to shape public opinion to suit their aims.

#3 100% of pollsters are lying scumbags.
Change my mind.

#4 BS. No one who supports Trump and who lives in a blue area will publicly admit it for fear of retaliation. No way the polls are capturing the true amount of Trump support.

#5 Reminds me of the Babylon Bee post from yesterday or the day before. Numbers would be higher if the folks knew what crime he is supposed to have committed.

Truth is the new Dem angle of a cover-up is brilliant as it hides the fact they have nothing and blames it on Trump. Wont' stand the light of day but for drive by opinions it's gold.

#6 Funny, I thought this was from the Bee. Even my liberal friends are seeing through the crap load of this investigation. I wish they would poll someone I know, just to know these polls are real.

#7 Very simple, folks. Those progressives who thought Trump should've been impeached long ago now like Congress more, since they are moving in that direction. Trump's total approval numbers at Rasmussen rarely hit 50%, but hardly ever fall below 45%.

I figure 35-40% of the country would be happy to shove Hillary, or even Nancy, into the POTUS spot, right now.

#8 Bobby, the only way Nancy would become president is for both Trum and Pence to be removed from office so quickly that Pence could not appoint a VP.

#9 Any VP a President Pence wants to appoint would have to be approved by majority votes in both the House and the Senate.

#10 #8 and 9. Yes, I know. I was expressing their dreams of making Trump AND Pence just go away, then wake up from their dreamland and find some good progressive had somehow been placed where they 'belong'.

The ones who have Trump Derangement Syndrome, Stage 5.

#11 I remember when someone with a severe case of TDS had the fantasy that Trump would be impeached and removed, then Pence would appoint Hillary as his VP, then immediately resign, so Hillary could take her "rightful " place as President.
