Stealthy no more?
[C4IsrNet] A German radar vendor says it tracked the F-35 jet in 2018 — from a pony farm.

#2 Passive radar equipment computes an aerial picture by reading how civilian communications signals bounce off airborne objects.
There are limitations to the technology. For one, it depends on the existence of radio signals, which may not be a given in remote areas of the globe. In addition, the technology is not yet accurate enough to guide missiles, though it could be used to send infrared-homing weapons close to a target.

Bottom line: there is still an emitter than can be destroyed as part of the air defense suppression mission. Being civilian infrastructure, you might not even need something as fancy as anti-radiation missiles to take it down.

#4 They throw a turbulent wake in the sea of non-ionizing radiation. Soon enough the point-to-point detection tactics will be passe' as 'bow wave density' becomes as apparent as JEM lines.

#5 If you know exactly where it is, when it is there, know all transmitters and their strengths, with no counter measures employed, running a very obvious and set flight pattern, then yeah I guess.

#6 Long wavelength UHF can detect the general area stealth fighters are at. Also when flying in non combat areas, the stealth fighters have radar reflective patches put on them so civilian and military radar know where they are so they don't cross flight paths.

Kind of a nothing burger story.
