Catholic Missionaries Compare Greta Thunberg to Virgin Mary

"Christians getting their knickers all in a twist over the passionate, articulate & knowledgeable witness of Greta Thunberg because of her age seem to overlook the age of the Virgin Mary at the time of the Annunciation," the group wrote on Twitter.
The Virgin Mary didn't know anything about climate change.

The tweet was sent Tuesday from the official Twitter account of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, whose registered name is the Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America, founded in 1911.

Greta's never had to practice getting under her desk in case of nuclear attack. Which of us has had it tougher? Neither of us had it as tough as the kids in Germany who were rounded up, put on a train with all their families, and shipped off to Majdenek or some garden spot like that. Just ask Anne Frank how tough she had it. Nor has Saint Greta ever had to pay a Hutu to shoot her instead of hacking her Tutsi ass to death. Ptui.
