Trump mocks Sanford’s affair with ‘Flaming Dancer’ in Argentina

[NYPOST] President Trump on Monday went after the latest longshot to challenge him in the 2020 Republican primary, mocking former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford for his extramarital affair with a "Flaming Dancer."

with his Flaming Dancer friend, it sounded like his political career was over," Trump posted on Twitter.
"It was, but then he ran for Congress and won, only to lose his re-elect after I Tweeted my endorsement, on Election Day, for his opponent. But now take heart, he is back, and running for President of the United States," the president continued.
He concluded by referring to his challengers as "The Three Stooges" who are "badly failed candidates."
Sanford announced he would run against Trump during an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," joining former Massachusetts Gov. William Weld and former Illinois Rep. Joe Walsh seeking the Republican nomination.
