Norwegian Police Say Mosque Shooting Is a Terror Attempt

More on this story from yesterday.

[Breitbart] Police in Norway’s capital say the shooting at a mosque that maimed one person is being investigated as an attempted terrorist attack and that the alleged perpetrator is also a murder suspect in a separate case.

One suspect is in jug after the shooting Saturday at the al-Noor Islamic Center in the Oslo suburb of Baerum. Police say they believe no one else was involved.

Oslo police official Rune Skjold told a news conference Sunday that the suspect, a man in his 20s, has been found to hold extreme right-wing views and animosity toward im~~migrants~~ colonists.

After the shooting, police went to his residence and said they found his 17-year-old sister dead. Police said the man is a suspect in that death.

Was this possibly intended to be a convoluted murder-suicide (by cop) that failed?
The Local adds that the sister is a stepsister, the Oslo suburb of Baerum is affluent, has details about our miscreant’s online posts, and:

According to official estimates about 200,000 Muslims lived in Norway in 2016, representing nearly four percent of the total population.

Update from the Daily Mail at 11:45 a.m EDT: the miscreant was named when he appeared in court today as Philip Manshaus.
