Pres. Trump says 'Watching Fake News CNN is better than watching Shepard Smith'

[Washington Examiner] President Trump suggested in a Wednesday afternoon tweet that he would rather watch CNN than Fox News anchor Shepard Smith.

"Watching Fake News CNN is better than watching Shepard Smith, the lowest rated show on @FoxNews," the president tweeted. "Actually, whenever possible, I turn to @OANN!"

Trump has recently been critical of the network and Smith has not been shy about pushing back.

Less than a week ago, the Fox News host ridiculed the president for doubting Russian interference. Trump questioned if Russia was interfering in U.S. elections after a reporter asked him. In response, Smith said, "It’s one of the more baffling things of a baffling presidency. There is no doubt that they are interfering, and yet, he goes, 'Do you believe that?' Yes, I believe it. I believe everyone in your government. I believe everyone is an intelligence apparatus. Of course I believe it."

Then last month, the president was critical of the Fox News poll that suggested the president would lose to either Joe Biden or Sen. Bernie Sanders.
