US open to working with Russia to protect Kurds in Syria
[ALMASDARNEWS] The United States is open to having conversations with Russia about the need to ensure that Kurdish forces do not suffer after US troops withdraw from Syria, National Security Adviser John Bolton said in an interview on Friday.

"The Kurds are in a very difficult position, and the President [Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
], as he spoke with President Erdogan, thinks that we, they were loyal to us, and we must make sure that they’re not harmed," Bolton told the Hugh Hewitt radio show. "We’d talk to the Russians about it, too, if need be."

Bolton explained that Trump has asked Ottoman Turkish leader Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey...
to be particularly careful about those Kurds who have helped the United States fight terrorist groups in the region. The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...Qatar's colony in Asia Minor....
made such a commitment, Bolton said, but the situation has since changed and became more complicated.

Consequently, the United States continues military-to-military talks with Turkey and hopes to make progress on the matter, Bolton added.

Bolton’s interview comes nearly a month after Trump declared that ISIS* in Syria has been defeated and decided to withdraw US troops from the country.

The Trump administration later changed its approach from an immediate pull out to a gradual and condition-based withdrawal, and the uncertainty the changes among US partners in the region have prompted new discussions on the further steps on resolving the Syrian crisis.

#1 Russia gave them first support when We were not there. Just last year. But who knows what that means.

Russia is a different means of protection. Less insular""

#2 Russia will have no qualms about funding the PUK in Turkey. Separating the Kurdish Majority oil and coal production areas in SDE Turkey would work out rather nicely for Russia if they are guarantors of the safety of a grateful Kurdish autonomy region.

Power play by Putin. And a destabilized Turkey plays right into Russian hands for domination of the region. Way to Go, Erdogan, you arrogant ass.
