Junbish supporters warn govt of uprisings if demands not met
[KhaamaPress] The supporters of Junbish Milli party have warned the government of uprisings if their demands are not met.

Hundreds of supporters of Junbish party started protests in northeastern Takhar province of Afghanistan today amid reports several roads connecting the northern and northeastern provinces have been blocked.

The protesters demand the immediate release of the acting police chief of Qaisar district of Faryab Nizamuddin Qaisari.

They also demand the immediate return of the First Vice President of Afghanistan General Abdul Rashid Dostum

The 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North had earlier said Qaisari was arrested following a scuffle with the security forces.

In the meantime, reports indicate that the protesters have blocked the roads connecting Takhar province with the northern Kunduz and northeastern Badakhshan province of Afghanistan.
