Senator names two Boko Haram bases military need to attack

He said the snuffies are operating from two bases: the Damboa/Gwoza/ Chibok axis and the Lake Chad axis.
He also urged security agencies to intensify efforts on the two locations.
He said this while reacting to the recent killings over the weekend in the outskirts of Damboa town in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.
At least 31 persons were killed and about 48 others injured after suspected Boko Haram jacket wallahs on Saturday attacked Abachari village in Damboa local government area, residents and witnesses have said.
The suicide bombers, said to be six by the army, reportedly targeted people returning home after a Sallah fair in Damboa.

He said that if the military "visit the bases of the snuffies with superior firepower, the snuffies would be defeated."

He sympathised with the families of those who were killed in the attack, adding that he has sent a delegation to visit the injured at the hospital and donated an undisclosed amount of money to the victims.
