- Jibril's mother and sister have disappeared from their nearby Dearborn home, too
- U.S. citizen Jibril, 46, has federal criminal conviction for fraud - and authorities revealed in court documents the depths of his backing for radical Islam
- He was sentenced to just under six years at federal court in Detroit in 2005
- A document prepared by federal prosecutors revealed how he had a family album showing him dressed as a 'mujaheddin' and children 'holding hostages'
- A fax sent to CNN after a 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia which killed Americans came from a fax number he paid for
- It tried to take credit for the bombing - and he also ran a website from his family home which federal prosecutors said was 'fanatically anti-America'
