3 plead not guilty in NYC to Islamic State group terror plot

[Ynet] Three men accused in a plot to travel from the U.S. to Syria to join forces with the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....

Friday to terrorism charges in federal court.

Abdurasul Hasanovich Juraboev, 24, Akhror Saidakhmetov, 19, and Abror Habibov, 30 were indicted this week on charges of conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization, conspiracy and travel document fraud. Federal officials say Juraboev and Saidakhmetov had tickets to travel to ~~The Sick Man of Europe~~ Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
but were really going to Syria.

#5 Uzbek and Kazakh, per An Nahar this morning:

Uzbekistan nationals Abdurasul Hasanovich Juraboev, 24 and Abror Habibov, 30, together with Kazakhstan citizen Akhror Saidakhmetov, 19, are charged with offering support to a foreign terrorist organization.

The guilty plea is the next step after the arrests reported here on February 26.
