EU agency warns airlines to exercise 'extreme caution' in Pakistan airspace
|
[DAWN] The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has issued a warning to national aviation authorities and aircraft operators to exercise "extreme caution" while flying in Pak airspace.
EASA ‐ a European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
(EU) regulatory body working in the field of civilian aviation safety ‐ issued a notice on its website stating that the "potential" of terrorist attacks in Pakistain has led to an increased risk for airlines.
The body's warning was based on the Directorate General for Civil Aviation (La Belle France) issuing a notice recommending that French operators should not fly below 24,000 feet inside Pak territory.
