Gov. Jerry Brown To Mexican Illegals: 'You're All Welcome In California'

said all Mexicans, including undocumented Democrats, are welcome in California.

According to the Los Angeles Times, while introducing Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, who said America is "the other Mexico," Brown "spoke about the interwoven histories of Mexico and California." He "nodded to the immigrants in the room, saying it didn't matter if they had permission to be in the United States."

"You're all welcome in California," Brown reportedly said.

Brown has made California a sanctuary state by signing the Trust Act, giving driver's licenses to undocumented Democrats. He has also expanded financial aid to undocumented Democrats by signing the California DREAM Act. Pena Nieto reportedly "thanked state officials for embracing foreigners, citing measures that extend state benefits to immigrants."

Even during the border crisis, Brown reportedly vowed "to find ways to shorten long waits at the Tijuana-San Diego international border crossing," saying, "If we can put a man on the moon, we can put a man from Mexico to California in 20 minutes."

In 2012, 28% of Californians were born outside the United States, according to The New York Times

. Hispanic voters reportedly "made up 19.2% of California voters" in 2010. And according to Pew Research, Latinos make up nearly 40% of the state's population and have made California "only the second state, behind New Mexico, where whites are not the majority and Latinos are the plurality."

Even though the University of California has admitted a record number of Hispanics, the Latino Caucus has vowed to make affirmative action and bilingual education top legislative priorities.

Pena Nieto is scheduled to address the California State Legislature in Sacramento on Tuesday.

#5 I can't tell you how badly this pisses me off. The man is publicly advocating that people break the law. There should be a law against that. He should go to jail. I think he should go to jail for treason. I think he should rot in jail.

Brown is now just a figure head. Pena Nieto will tell the legislature what to do and they will do it.

#10 I figure Gov Brown has to betray the unions (pension funding) or the environmentalists (fraking to get money in the coffers).

I'd always assumed he'd screw the environmentalists when push came to shove but with this move.... this is like a brush-back pitch to the unions.

Nah. The unions will enroll the illegals, give 'em fake social security cards and everything. And it won't matter to the union bosses when all of their legal members are unemployed because they'll still be collecting the dues from the illegals and contributing to Brown's presidential campaign. You think I'm joking? I wish I was. Hildebeast is damaged goods and Brown will be coming off of umpteen terms as Kalifornia governor which will be depicted in the MSM as successful. This kind of thing gives him the street creds too.
