#7 I had skin cancer surgery at Bethesda Naval Hospital many years ago. Absolutely superb treatment and follow-up. Things do change however.

#9 Walter Reed was suppose to be closed. Underfunded by Congress. Well, till the 2d Gulf War and it made the evening news (cause they wanted to hammer Bush) and in the Congressional hearing on the problem someone didn't hold back and listed all the requests to Congress for funding that were turned down and just like that it disappeared from the news.
