#1  Vogtle Unit 3 is the first newly-constructed nuclear unit in the U.S. in over 30 years and can power an estimated 500,000 homes and businesses. Once all four units are online, the Plant Vogtle site will be the largest generator of clean energy in the nation and support continued growth in Georgia as more industries, businesses and families come to the state

About half of what relo’s to GA every three weeks it seems

#2 The eye watering over time and budget on this project is a testament to everything that is wrong with American business and gummint regulatory apparatus. Many lessons here that have probably been totally ignored or mis-interpreted by all the usual suspects.

But, more, faster please...

#3 a testament to everything that is wrong with American business

#5 More than likely totally unrelated.
But my CDV-717 MOD1 has been reading 11+ to 13.2 rad/hr the last few days on my side of rural middle ga. and only 1 to 3 rad/hr traveling in to town. But given recent wind directions and the serious t-storms maybe SRP again.😈

That is equal to getting 24 MRI's, or is it CT's a day.

#6 I moved back from Savannah to the ATL years ago, the Savannah site, Hatch or Vogtle can’t zap me anymore.

But I like the cheap energy

#7 Swear to G-d first time I took my boat in the sounds around Daufuskie and caught a flounder, I thought it was some creature from a Monty Burns nuke plant.

I won’t even mention, I’d brought the boat down from Lake Oconee and had no anchor, running down the beach as the tide swept it off was enlightening
