#1 Local HS school already has signs up.
"WCHS staff is trained and armed and ready."

#3
A week-long course (24 hours) is more than enough time to learn when and where to, load, point and shoot.

Many years ago, I taught my wife and later teenage kids using 2 boxes of 22 LR. All were hitting 7-10 at 50 ft. after a few hours.

NOTE: A wall of shame listing the names of the OHIO politicians voting against it should be made. "9 vote in the State Senate and a 34 vote in the State House,"

#4 HS - High School.

I would hope the training also incudes *when* its appropriate to use the firearm.

#7 Grade school used to be the school you went to to get ready for high school. These days, there probably needs to be a remedial step in between.

#8 HS - High School

At one time in America (generally) there was an age/advancement hierarchy of the educational system.

A facility, the school, hosted one or more levels of achievement with correspondingly more complex training materiel and social engagement skill setting.

The hierarchy followed a progressive student age pattern of Elementary or Grade School(G1-6), Junior High School(G7-8) and High School(G9-12).

The High School school facility also may have offered advanced placement preparation classes for the exceptional college or university bound student and technical skills classes for the workforce bound.

Beyond, there were also Tech Schools, Prep Schools, Junior Colleges, etc. offering remedial and or specialized life skill training.

Now it's all fucked up.

#9 As badly as the failed at basic subject matter, I'm hoping they fail twice as hard at the indoctrination gobbledy-gook.

#10 As a Buckeye, I will continue to call for armed lunch ladies. I don’t think most teachers will have it in them to squeeze the trigger, except several math teachers I had, but they are long dead.
