#7 If the populace doesn't rally around their flag and leaders in a time of war, that's a problem. Ask Americans how that played out late in our involvements in Vien Nam, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Those experiences are the major reason that outside our current political crop, neo-con pundits, the corporate media and the Beltway Bandits, there's not really much enthusiasm for US involvement in Ukraine right now, nor likely to be in the future.
