Silly Google. Изюм / Izyum means "raisin." The city is of decisive strategic importance to the armies involved; the inhabitants of Izyum can survive without a daily raisin allotment.

#3 Contrary to neocons' spin lies and propaganda, the Russian Army will soon control all or nearly all of the Donbas. Gulyaipole is cut off. Kharkov will fall soon. The cauldron's in place now.

Along with no NATO expansion to within a few hundred miles of Russia's capital, autonomy for the Donbas region was the entire basis of the Minsk II agreement.

So now Zelensky and Biden have brought us back to Minsk II, only with thousands dead.

Why are we supporting this madness? Why did we encourage Little Big Man Zelensky to rip up Minsk II and hold out for NATO membership?

Have we ever in our entire history seen such incompetent and destructive US diplomacy?
