#1 I volunteer! So long as I don't have to live in CA.

#2 So Newsom is not as dumb as they say?

#3 How about an executive order opening up restaurants? Too obvious for the gay governor? It's a meaningless bullshit gesture.

#4 Sorry, takes 2 days for a FedEx overnight to get here.

#8 What Raj said.

A fair bet that Noisome and other California pols have made personal investments in the delivery startups that will receive a windfall from this cockamamie scheme.

#9 I saw the other night on TV that there are some liability concerns. Imagine if a business opens and someone claims that he/she contracted COVID-19 (for that matter, why not any bug?) at a business establishment. In this litigation- and tort-claim-happy land, that might be the K.O. punch to crush businesses--and the economy, already fragile.

#11 SO that's one step closer to the end game? The State will bring your food, when you need it?

Much better than Venezuela!

#12 #9 By this time next year, I think we'll be saying that the litigation resulting from the virus and the shutdown is worse than either the virus or the shutdown.

#13 /\ I wouldn't bet against that, Matt, that's for sure.

#14 Cocaine Mitch was saying they would give liability protection. Expect Dems and their bankroll trial whores lawyers to oppose it

#16 Well, who cares right? I mean, if California's going bankrupt anyways, they might as well spend every last dime as quickly as they can... Before the current group of thieves lose their jobs.
