#1 If you adjust the numbers to fit the US population (65mm French versus 330mm US, call it 5x) the gummint estimate works out to 200,000 yellow vests and the yellow vest estimate works out to 635,000. Every week for 20 weeks. This is a non-trivial event.

#2 I keep in touch with a Frenchman I knew at the UN. He's sympathetic to the "yellow vest" people. Evidently the tax thing in France is just way out of control.
