#4 The spammer was posting several dozen a minute for over two hours, Frank. At that point even the minimal politeness of spamcopping goes by the wayside. Partway through, magpie mentioned the number 1188. Thanks for all the heads up, guys. I was leisurely wandering through the Burg as we drove back from visiting trailing daughter #2 and her darling husband when I saw the first warning, and added my muscle to the deletion effort already underway — three cheers for Frank, Skidmark, and Besoeker for holding the line, and badanov for shutting it down.
