#1 The State of Texas can ask you if you are a citizen prior to you serving on a jury. If you can't serve on a jury, you ain't my "peer".

#4 The US Census (IIRC) has asked residents to say whether or not they were citizens in ALL the censuses up through & including 1950. For the bulk of the history of the USA, this was the standard. This article on the issue by NPR is "inaccurate, incomplete and misleading" to quote their own words against them.
