#1 Debian myself. Ubuntu is based off of it.
One machine uses gnome the rest KDE.
My main desktop is KDE.

#2 Yeah, I've been using KDE for years. Don't see the need for Gnome... Or any attempt to make the desktop look and act like a phone.

#4 Cinnamon on Linux Mint (not this box - other box). Kept having problems with Ubuntu.

#5 I run two Ubuntu servers on a spare windows machine using VirtualBox and both use xfce: I agree to its sweetness.
