#2 To the Left 'American Exceptionalism' is a myth.

"Let's Roll"

"Let's Go"

#3 Well done, men.

And the best part is they were off duty so they didn't violate any ROEs.

#4 Didn't take long for that recommendation to go through channels.

#5 I wonder if the speed of the reward was a rebuke to Obama...

#6 The best part for me is that one of them wasn't a service man.

I love the military and all they do. However, its gotten to the point where I half expect this type of behavior from them. But the fact that a civilian joined in gives me hope there are a few Americans that are NOT military that are ready and willing to do what needs to be done.

#7 Alan, I was thinking the same thing. I love the fact that one of these guys is just a "regular American", and from my home town to boot.

#8 One of the chaps was clearly cut up pretty badly. He looks to be a service member. I wonder if the Champ will put him through the same 'Purple Heart' misery as the Fort Hood folks? Qualifications into account and all of that.

#9 Besoeker, I would guess there will be no Purple Hearts awarded for this incident. The Purple Heart is awarded for wounds suffered from action against the enemy. Since Obama refuses to name Islam as the enemy, this was just a couple of guys who foiled a robbery.

#10 My guess as well RV. I reckoned the French would bring the group to the Palace for a ceremony, and pick up the hotel and Air France tab back to NYC. They did not hesitate. Good on them !

Something about a Frenchman you have to love, it just comes out more slowly.

#11 Any see any more info on the condition of the American Prof/musician who was shot in the neck? Not too much heard about him as far as I can see.
