#2 There's a reason the Japanese are so interested in the F35. Its sort of right behind acquiring nukes in making Japan's neighbors nervous.

#3 It would cost more to refuel USS Enterprise (and do other non-discretionary repairs) than to build a new aircraft carrier, or so I am told. It was not designed to ever be refueled.

#7 I'd call one City of Nanking just so the message was clear. I realize the ChiComs are looking to settle some old scores, but I fear traditional mainland conceit might be getting the better of them.
