#3 Dr. Carson is brilliant in his field, and has some keen insights into the human condition. But he is not a seasoned politician at any level; should he seriously compete in the political arena, he'll get eaten alive, just like the several others who've tried it in the past. Still, his very presence will force discussions into new channels until he is driven away.

#5 If I recall, he's got some issues that will cause the NRA to stay home on election day. We really don't want that many voters staying home on election day.

There is still a lot of time to get ahead of that issue, redefine his positions, but he better get started if he's serious.

You might be quite surprised ...Most of us know of the comparable relationship between Lincoln and Kennedy, but have you ever considered the comparisons between President Obama and President Lincoln?

Parallels of Abraham Lincoln and Barack Hussein Obama.

1. Lincoln placed his hand on the Bible for his inauguration. Obama used the very same bible Lincoln used for his inauguration.

2. Lincoln came from Illinois . Obama comes from Illinois .
