#1 Pass a law to deduct a good portion of that from the Presidents paycheck.

#2 Now we know why Obama is slashing the Tomahawk and Hellfire purchases....

#3 Chaoyang, China

State Department Per Diem Rate

$167 per day Lodging, $100 Meals & Incedentals Entertainment Rate - Maximum Per Diem Rate $267

Seems the Great Queen, Queen Mum, and kiddies owe the tax payers a "little cash".

Hey Champ get out your checkbook and do the right thing = Spreed the wealth around, by paying America back.

#4 A clear endorsement of entitlement. Flaunting executive privilege on this scale is little more than a 'stick in the eye' to the man. Call it what it is.

#5 Please remember all of this when he and she talk about 'income inequity' and 'redistribution'. The base they're talking to is well beyond the capacity to see the blatant dichotomy between what is said and what is done. They don't care.

#6 Oh the blatant dichotomy is 'seen' alright. The difference is the entitlement crowd APPROVES of it, but only for Holder's "our people." Think of it not as an excess, but as over-seeding to ensure a healthy growth of future entitlement.

#7 ItÂ’s not clear if taxpayers are paying full-price for the rooms.

$8,400 is the 'sucker' price they put on the back of the hotel room door. Not that Moochelle would care what the taxpayers paid. But I usually wind up paying 20-30% of the back-of-the-door price. Certainly, the White House Staff could negotiate a better price!

#8 Well the usual graft is to claim the price and pocket the difference when the reimbursement arrives.

#9 And that is a fraction of the room cost for her stay. For security reasons they will block the whole floor out and the floors above and below her, at a minimum. Each of those rooms are $8k a night. And the costs go up from there...

#11 You would think that they would take up several floors of rooms, above and below their suites, and several to each side. I'm not surprised.
