#1 In my lifetime the Democrats have compromised a total of three times only.

Republican NAFTA, signed by Bill Clinton.

Republican welfare reform signed by Bill Clinton.

Republican sorta kinda balanced budget signed by Bill Clinton.

Every other compromise has consisted of the Republicans moving 95%-100% to the Democrat position. And the Democrats and their toadies in the MSM howling like scalded cats if it was 95%.

Democrats NEVER compromise.

#3 Wasn't the 2010 election about slowing trying to get some control and stop the out-of-control spending? The donk spin is different of course. It was for the children, grandma in a wheelchair, and the poor--sob.

#4 I'm beginning to believe the donks really have attained some kind of back room leverage on John Boehner. As compromised as he is, he should step down voluntarily.

#5 I know he won't. But he should.

#6 Well, there is certainly something going on in the Pub ranks. Boehner, McConnell, and the Pub old guard's contempt and disdain for the young Tea Party up and comers betrays them. If ever there was a time to set petty differences aside and unite it is now.
