#1 As said times before, 9-11 + GWOT = WAR FOR OWG-NWO = as much an Inter-Muslim struggle for dominance as between the US + Radical Islam + other. Shia Rising Iran desires to replace the Sunni Saudis as "Keeper of Islam's Holy Places" + Sword-Defender of the Faith, etc, + that the future OWG Islamic Caliphate = Global Islamic Super-State/Superpower be Shia-centric iff not outright Shia-controlled.

Technically speaking, iff Iran can indeed unilater destroy Israel, such an event would be immeasurable in promoting Shia Iran + Shia Islam as the [post-Saudi]future + centre of the Faith.

Thusly, IRAN = NORTH KOREA = "NEEDS NUCLEAR WEAPONS" TO EXISTENTIALLY SURVIVE + PROPAGATE, DESPITE ANY PCORRECT RHETORIC TO THE CONTRARY.

IOW, THE MULLAHS DO CARE ABOUT HAVING TO DETONATE ANY NUKES-WMDS ON IRANIAN SOIL TO DEFEAT AN EXTERNAL/ENEMY INVASION FORCE.
