officially, Libya has been Judenrein since 2004 or so
in 2011 there was an attempt to repair a historic synagogue and one or two former Libyan Jews came for it but that effort ended about a week after it began and has not been restarted

- if they were there and left on their own or
- if they left under coercion
Judenrein = cleaned of Jews would be if there were Jews and they left under coercion
In the case of Libya, the Govt claimed there was no official written coercion policy and I acknowledge that this claim is probably correct so, by their standard the correct word would be Judenfrei.
However, almost everybody acknowledges that the neighborhoods in which the Jews lived had become hostile and the Jews were getting threat and taunts frequently and that the sermons in the mosques were getting harsher and more anti-Jewish. By that, it would be Judenrein.

#9 The Government of Libya rounded up and deported the Jews of Libya many years ago. They were sent by plane I believe, to Italy.
The correct term is therefore Judenrein.
