#1 Appears she does not quite understand the operative word or implied intent with regard to Concealed Carry Permit.

#2 I can sympathize with the poor woman's feeling of responsibility, but one gun, more or less, will not make a damn bit of difference in Detroit.

P.S. Don't leave your gun in the car, dumbass.
P.P.S They steal minivans nows?

#3 Ditto Steve. Surely somewhere there must be former Fast and Furious program BATF agents are reading this whilst pounding their fists and weeping uncontrollably.

#4 Perhaps it's common practice to claim a gun is involved in a crime in order to get any response from the police?

Diminishing returns and all that.

#5 P.S. Don't leave your gun in the car.

If you are a law-abiding citizen, as are nearly all concealed carry permit holders, sometimes you don't have any option but to leave the firearm in the car. It's either that or leave it at home. If you are going to a government building, you are restricted from taking the firearm into the building. In some States you cannot take the firearm into work or leave your firearm in the car at work due to legal restrictions. Nearly all universities have extra-legal additional requirements regarding firearms on campus even if you have a CCP. Some States have a legal provision for establishments to post requirements against carrying in their business. You either leave the firearm in the car or illegally take it with you (good news is that the violation is often only a misdemeanor). I'm just mentioning this because problems are created for people who are law-abiding citizens by restricting places where you can carry and cannot carry.
