Save for its dispute wid Syria oer the Golan Heights, + Syria's support for broad Regional Islamic Unity, ISOLATIONIST SYRIA WAS THE BEST ENEMY, OR ONE OF THEM, THAT ISRAEL COULD EVER HAVE. It rarely unilaterally started anything save under strong external pressures.
