#1 If you look at the organizational structure and the backgrounds of the Chief on down, you will see that this is a direct result of promoting people not based on integrity or qualifications, but for political reasons. That's the real dirt on this situation. Texas is a red state, but the major cities are just as infected with the liberal vermine as any other major cess pool.

#2 This sounds like more than just incompetence. It sounds like an intelligence operation, in which the local police have been told what to say.

If it was a domestic al-Quds hit, US counterintelligence would be hot on smoking out the resident assassin, as they are high priority targets. Likewise, if they came up from Mexico, the BP will be keeping their eyes peeled.

Alternatively would be a local yokel at her mosque who decided that she was a heretic or belonged to the wrong Iranian faction, and finally a family member honor killing. Though that happens a lot less among Iranian ex-pats.

#3 One article said she was talking on the phone with an ex-boyfriend and her current boyfriend was also ruled out...I say the ex took out a hit on her, providing an alibi for himself. The Chronicle also published photos of the family and a statement by her her distraught brother--they seemed aristocratic, and it specifically noted a part of the established local Persian community. I find those that call themselves Persian also distance themselves from the current Iranian Nutjob. FBI was involved, so local liberal cops have supervision.

#4 Regarding the police. Texas is a Red state, but Houston is a Democrat area. Shelia Jackson Lee, who is a racist that has the IQ of a banana, is a representative from that area of Texas.
