#1 Mohammedans, according to Sheikh Ferkous, must ensure to stick together behind their governments to whom they must devote respect and obedience and that, in order to preserve stability and security of the nation.

Would be good if true. However, there are some 80 million radicalized muslims out there who want to impose sharia law in the country where they live by terror and stealth. There may be more who are sympathizers who are considered 'moderate." One must keep in mind that sharia law is a religious-political-legal-economic system. There is no separation between church and state.

#3 Meh, the takfiris *know* this, that's why they follow people they call "emir", to establish a "ruler" for the purposes of jihad. They've rhetorically delegitimized the established sovereign and are following their own alternative authority.

Of course, this cuts off the tourist-jihadi ghazi trade, but are they that much of a factor in Algeria? I'd think this point would be more useful in, say, Iraq or Afghanistan.
