#3 This adaptation was revealed a couple months ago and I thought, well thats great but a logistics statigist would want a few of these to make an interstate highway. Viewing this video, this evolutin of Martins Funnies (did I remember the name right?) appears to now become a standardized kit. Arial resupply, IMHO, is a great niche, but roads baby roads are the way.

#6 ...look like a tank with a cannon...

Wow, never seen one o' them before!

ALFRED de MONTESQUIOU, Associated Press Writer should stick to writing about food and wine or fashion. He's averaging a mistake per paragraph when it comes to armored warfare.

#7 I think he meant a tank without a cannon. The only weapon I saw on it was a .50 cal. An editor could've screwed that up for him.

#8 Got to see a couple of those out here at the Wadi.

In the grand scheme of things, 3.5 mil isn't a lot, considering what an Abrams' price tag is to begin with, and the work is essentially being done in-house.

#10 MCLC were used back during the first Gulf War by US Army & Marine units going through the berms and minefields entering Iraq. Same for Combat Engineer assault vehicles. Nothing new in concept, only new reporters.
