#7 This European nobility cracks me up. They should take the whole lot of them and start up a big Renaissance Fair theme park with the whole lot of them. Let them earn some money.

#8 AlanC,
Should we in Europe copy the Kennedy or Bush estates?

#11 Rather than copy them I'd suggest that you just take them apart and ship them to Europe for reconstruction just like the mega-rich of Newport did a century or so ago with French drawing rooms.
But, the downside for you is that you have to take the people with the buildings.

#12 The European royals are the basis for easy profits in several industries, and as such good for their respective nations' employment and GDP numbers. Think magazine articles, books, souvenir tchockes, and all the expenses associated with the paparazzi. ;-) And they already have all the estates and fancy palaces they need.
