That is, something so ludicrous that *Arabs* would laugh at it, even if Persians didn't get it. But Persians hate being laughed at by Arabs.

#3 Stalin had to be more Russian than the Russians because he was Georgian by birth. Maybe Khamanei is being more Persian than the Persians because he's Azeri by birth. You have to wonder how much of this is shtick.
