#1 Fadl sees that AQ (and jihad in general) overplayed its hand and some serious whupass ensued. WWMD? Some taqiyya is apparently in order. It is very inappropriate to use violent jihad if you have little chance of winning, sez profit (swat'im). The violence can (inshalali, must) be resumed when conditions change in favor of Slam.
