#1 Somehow I don't think Kerry reads mail from 'little people' like us. He probaby has some lowly peon. who's name he doesn't even know, do it for him.

But Good Luck!

#2 I figger I'm in the category of50,000 support you John, while only three disagreed. Here's No. 2

Dear Senator Kerry:

I was appalled, but not shocked, by your latest remarks about the military, “stuck in Iraq.” My youngest son was accepted at the University of Texas in Austin, but chose to enlist in the Marine Reserves because he wanted to serve. He was trained in defense against nuclear, biological, or chemical attacks (NBC), but volunteered to drive trucks so he could go with his unit to Iraq and dodge mines and IED’s in al Anbar Province. He will always remember the pride he felt to be serving when the Iraqi’s had their first free election.

He spent Christmas, 2003 near the Syrian border with Iraq, but he knew which side of the border he was on at all times. He spent two days in the hospital for an injury, but because it was not combat-related, he did not get a Purple Heart. He received a Commendation for his support of Special Forces searching for “High Value Targets”, but did not receive the Silver Star.

When he returned from Iraq, he postponed his studies for a semester to serve in the cleanup after Hurricane Katrina, but consorted with no foreign enemies, nor marched in any protests. He has returned to his studies in Austin, and his Mother and I are very proud of him, and all the others who serve our country.

Osama bin Laden, and others who would destroy our country, must be very proud of you. If it’s a “botched joke”, Senator, why can’t you apologize to those whom you offended? You may start with Cpl. Joshua R. Bolduc, USMC.

#3 There are almost 2,400 letters to Kerry here.

Most seem to be down on John. One exceptions, titled THANK YOU, is a dandy:

November 1, 2006

Thank you for saying what the majority of Americans feel. Recruiters pray on the least intelligent among us to do their bidding. They smile when they come out of the high schools knowing they've sucked another unsuspecting, hard on their luck boy or girl. Alls you did was say out loud what we all know to be true.

#4 Recruiters pray [sic] on the least intelligent...

I wonder if the recruiters also scan letters for spelling errors.

#5 Well if ya wanna be thatway, Matt, I think spellcheckers would reject "alls". Actually, WORD does not reject it as misspelled, but it can't define it, except as "all".

Allsyou did is easier to say than "all that you did".

But hey, don't we have some English Majors out there?

Military failures go to Congress, proving that 3 months of military experience qualifies one to become a Senator. Ouch! Most of us in the Military love our Great Nation and even defend individuals like Sen. Kerry and his right to make stupid, irresponsible remarks. God Bless America. Retired, Sgt USAF

#7 Bobby, LOL. I committed the dread proofreading error of catching only the first one.

#8 Most of us in the Military love our Great Nation and even defend individuals like Sen. Kerry and his right to make stupid, irresponsible remarks.

Most of us who are not in the military also love our Great Nation and some of us have also sworn to defend, with our lives if need be, the right of stupid people like Kerry to issue stupid statements in public or private.

I swore my oath many, many years ago, and I will defend Kerry's right to say anything he wants to.

But I never swore any oath not to be offended by what anyone said.

Kerry is now, has been, and always will be an elitist chuckhole gnawing at the fabric of our country and our culture. He is a treasonous, traitorous bastard who should have been put up against a wall and shot a long time ago. He has, and continues to, committed treason against the USA and he needs to be brought to answer for his crimes.

This is just the latest in his long line of treasonous actions, comments, and activities.

One of these days Kerry is going to get what's coming to him - and it's not going to be the Presidency.

#9 I was wrong. Of the 2,400 letters available here, only about the most recent 120 or so pertain to Kerry's insult to the troops. Many are anti-Kerry, but a significant number (20-30% maybe?) still think he walks on water.

My point - if you do bother to write the junior jackass Senator, it has a better chance of getting noticed than I thought.

Heck, I may write again!

#10 Thanks for putting up with me, Fred. I must have gone off the deep end with this, and maybe a more appropriate locations for this would be my own blog site. I'm too lazy.

OTOH, I figger there is one chance in a 100,000 that when Kerry does finally, really apologize to the troops (fat chance!)he'll name my son! (See #2)

Send an e-mail to the clown. Your letter will be one of a hundred. Be polite; be concise; be straightforward. Let him know what you think. Make him ashamed of his mouth, and his arrogance. There's a chance you can make a difference.
