#1 Drops the commercial after free nation-wide coverage. Kurt Russel couldn't have done it better.

#2 plans for a commercial it said would have proclaimed a "jihad" on the US auto market offering "Fatwa Fridays" with sales representatives giving play swords to children.

Give whoever thought of this idea a whopping raise and let them plan some more marketing campaigns. This is a truly creative individual.

#3 Dear Infidel Sons of Monkeys and Pigs,

We appreciate Dennis Mitsubishi's decision to drop this campaign which is highly offensive to Muslim's, as is just about everything we see in everyday life. Please be assured that you have moved up high on the Dhimmi list and will be among the last that we behead when the caliphate is established.

PBUH...INFIDEL!

#4 Why does this story remind me of 'Marshall Lucky' in the movie 'Used Cars'?

"So c'mon down to New Deal Used Cars, where we're not just cutting high prices, we're not just slashing high prices, but we are blowing the ever living sh*t out of high prices."

#5 Marshall Lucky?

Do tell! I gotta see that movie, I assume there were far flung brigades?

#6 I'm shocked, 6. Shocked I tell you. It's a Kurt Russell movie and is mostly forgettable, but the scene where one of the car salesmen from New Deal Used Cars is dressed up like Wild Bill, firing a shotgun at the cars of the competitor across the street, and doing a live TV commercial while doing it, never fails to make me laugh my ass off.

#7 A totally histerical bad movie. IMDB has a section of the best quotes, I forgot about this one where Jeff (Marshall Lucky) lies to a FBI agent about the car that got blown up:

"Uh, well, yes. As I say, Inspector, I heard this large explosion and I rushed out, I couldn't tell what was going on. I saw the car over there in flames and all these strange little characters, you know, with towels on their heads, weird little goatees and stuff, running around yelling: "Ayatollah, Ayatollah." Then they all got in a car and drove away. I guess it was Iranian students out to discredit the American way of life. I can't imagine who else would do such a thing."
